I think you will find that it was Fergie who started to play second string sides in the league cup post united 93 league win as they were now in champions league
the Greengrass movie wins (United 93 and Barkhad Abdi for Captain Phillips) are the weirdest out of left field wins for a British film award
BAFTA often line up with the Oscar frontrunners these days, but sometimes they have some left field wins. Here are some of the wildest BAFTA wins Director: Paul Greengrass - United 93 Supporting Actor: Dev Patel - Lion Barkhad Abdi - Captain Phillips Bill Nighy - Love Actually

@AMC_TV why would y’all be playing titanic right now? Nobody wants to be reminded of any other sad accidents/disasters this whole week. Lemme guess y’all playing United 93 next?

United 93 was delayed departing the gate by 45 minutes on 9/11. The hijackers then took even longer to attack than their counterparts. This gave passengers time to find out about the other planes and to fight back. United 93 was headed for the US Capitol, both houses in session.

I've been reading the 9/11 commission report during downtime at work (of which I have a lot right now) which led me to a rewatch of United 93 today. For me it's a superb piece of film making but a very tough watch. There were tears by the end.

We will have to check it out! Last time that happened was United 93
Just finished watching United 93 and I’m a little shook. I knew what happened but hadn’t seen it since high school and the fact that a few passengers were able to overtake literal terrorists and stop the plane from hutting its target... makes me proud to be an American

The end of Braveheart still gets me every time... United 93 was more infuriating than sad... and for a more recent pick I’ll thrown in Jojo Rabbit

United 93 blew up in air, what else explains how the 757’s engines landed a total 2 MILES from the crash site with more smaller debris over 5-10 miles.

United 93 was a pilgrimage that I wouldn't recommend anyone take up. It was a different time and I needed to share it with friends to witness it first (well, second) hand. Gladiator was a result of not giving a shit about baseball...I needed something better to occupy my summer.
Ruined me amd left me shaking, few films have done that, The Nightingale, United 93 and Captain Phillips https:// twitter.com/TheFlemishSeth /status/1219242551183458304   …
