U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May’s plan to save her twice-torpedoed Brexit deal has been dealt a major blow by the Speaker of the House of Commons. Speaking on Monday, John Bercow told U.K. lawmakers ...

How any Unionist can look at what has happened in the last few years since the Brexit vote and suggest this is the best course for Scotland is actually so insulting to the population. We have been routinely ignored, silenced and ridiculed. Scotland can do better
Theresa May has voiced her “absolute determination” that MPs should have another chance to vote on her Brexit deal, despite the bombshell intervention of the Commons Speaker. John Bercow provoked ...

It's 1,000 days since we voted to Leave the EU - I found this clip from a video @robkun and I filmed for @spikedonline TWO MONTHS after the #Brexit vote. We were talking about the delay to #Article50. Every word is still relevant now - it’s just delay and delay and delay.
Scotland's administration is seeking immediate discussions with the EU to keep the country in the bloc. A million voters in the UK have called for a change in the law to require a 60 percent majority ...

I wonder how strongly the @Conservatives will deal with rampant #Islamophobia in their party? Well, in 2017 Anne Marie Morris was suspended for using the phrase "n*gger in a woodpile" and then had the whip reinstated to support a Brexit vote. So not very strongly, I'm guessing.
In Britain, the speaker of the House of Commons dealt a new blow Monday to Prime Minister Theresa May by barring another vote in Parliament on her Brexit agreement—just 11 days before the U.K. is set ...

To ignore the corruption of the Brexit referendum is a choice. To fail to update on police/NCA investigations into the corrupt referendum is a choice. To deny the public a say when the facts are now known is a choice. To revoke Article 50 is also a choice. #BrexitVote

“Part of the responsibility of the Speaker is frankly to speak truth to power. I have always done that & no matter what, I always will, because I think that is the proper thing to do.” John Bercow, thank you. #BrexitVote
So @theresa_may doesn't like it because the Speaker didn't give notice regarding a 3rd Brexit vote, the irony that 3.7m #50sWomen feel exactly the same about the LACK of notice when our pensions were sneakily filched TWICE! #BackTo60 #OneVoice #ShoulderToShoulder #JudicialReview

“The Brexit vote was a clear intention of the will of the British people. 17.4 million people supported us leaving the EU, and to frustrate this wish by not enacting Brexit in an orderly, timely way risks long-term, large scale backlash societally and politically” @JacobGroet

The only good thing about this #BrexitVote is John Bercow shouting DIVISION
Still struggling to grasp the logic of how it is undemocratic to have two referenda in 3 years (margin <4%), but perfectly fine to have the same parliamentary vote twice in 8 days (margin >23%) #BrexitVote
Guy Fawkes 14/03/2019 12:44
Just a reminder that the Tories had a parliamentary majority at the time of the Brexit vote. Mays attempt to destroy the Labour Party by calling an early election has ultimately only resulted in the destruction of a Tory Brexit and her own premiership. Karma.
